Our Story

The Journey
When Evan and Julia met in Los Angeles in 2015, they didn't expect to spend the next three years in a long-distance relationship. Julia moved back to Sweden to finish her studies. Every few months, one of them would fly 5,000 miles for a few days together.
The problem wasn't the distance. It was how they felt after landing. Tired. Drained. Throat dry. Senses dulled. They'd spend the first day recovering instead of enjoying their limited time together.
In 2019, they started researching why this happens. Airplane cabins are drier than the Sahara Desert. Humidity drops below 20%. On a long flight, you can lose liters of water just by breathing. It's the driest environment most people ever experience.

They searched for a solution and found nothing that balanced function with design. So they decided to create one.
Research, development, testing and certification took five years. They partnered with Propeller Design in Stockholm, a Red Dot award-winning agency. The brief was simple: create something that works beautifully and looks minimal. No compromises.
Dozens of prototypes were tested. Friends and family became early testers. The feedback that convinced them they had it right came from Julia's colleague. After using it, she said she couldn't imagine traveling without it anymore.

Evan and Julia have visited over 40 countries. Evan spent a year backpacking across Southeast Asia, India and Australia. They love an adventure. Travel is their priority. They understand that how you arrive matters.
Kuvola—from the Italian word nuvola, meaning cloud—is designed for people who refuse to compromise. People who understand that the journey matters as much as the destination, and who invest in products that help them show up as their best selves.
Because your best arrival awaits.
